8:00 AM Registration & welcome. Collect your token at the desk, confirm your details and take your allotted seat.
9:00 AM Opening. Lamp lighting, a short welcome from the organisers, and an explanation of how the introductions will run.
9:30 AM Participant introductions. Each registered bride and groom introduces themselves briefly: education, work, and what they are looking for in a life partner.
11:30 AM One-on-one introductions. Our team introduces you to suitable matches within a similar age range, with family members welcome to join.
1:00 PM Lunch & open interaction. Complimentary refreshments, and time for families to speak freely.
2:00 PM Profile exchange. Share the profiles you wish to take forward so our team can pass on your details.
3:00 PM Close. Final announcements and next steps for families who wish to continue the conversation.

Who can attend the Melawa?

Members of the Kunbi Samaj who are never married, divorced, widowed or legally separated, across age groups from 21 to 50+ along with their parents or guardians.

Can a participant attend without parents?

Yes. The extra family member option simply lets you bring someone along; a participant may also attend on their own.

What does it cost to register?

Registration costs ₹1,400 for a Groom (वर) with one accompanying family member, and ₹1,000 for a Bride (वधू) with one accompanying family member. One extra family member can be added for an additional ₹300. All prices are inclusive of taxes.

How are introductions arranged?

Our team manages seating and coordination, and introduces participants to suitable matches within a similar age range through organised one-on-one interactions.

Is the payment safe?

Yes, payments are processed through a secure, encrypted gateway with instant confirmation.

Where and when is it held?

At Mangeshi Celebration Banquet, Union Park, Kalyan West on Sunday 30th August 2026, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Can we attend from outside Kalyan?

Absolutely. Families from nearby districts and towns who can travel to Kalyan for the day are warmly welcome.

What happens after the event?

You share the profiles you wish to take forward. If there is mutual interest, families can continue the conversation directly after the Melawa.
